Fountain of Youth Header

Located just north of Thermopolis, the
Fountain of Youth Recreational Vehicle Park

boasts the third largest hot mineral pool in the World. The pool is fed by the Sacajawea Well, named for the Indian Squaw who led Lewis and Clark to the Pacific. At an elevation of 3,947 feet, our bone warming 100 degree F pool will make you forget your worries.

Your hosts Ron and Arvey Foote bought the Fountain of Youth in 2005. We emphasize a personal approach and have a high percentage of return visitors.

Currently, the well flows at the rate of 1.3 million gallons each 24 hours at 128 degree F. At that flow rate, all the water in the pool is exchanged every 11 hours. The pool measures 235 feet by 72 feet and holds 84,600 cubic feet of water. The hot mineral waters have been known to help many physical disorders, are wonderfully relaxing, and they serve to greatly ease tension and occupational fatigue. The Fountain of Youth hosts between 75-100 Baptisms a year from local churches and conventions and is the summer home of many "snowbirds". From May to September this year we hosted over 5,000 units, and had almost 26,000 visitors arriving in everything from tents and vans, to 1/2 million dollar motor homes.

Be sure to see the Liar's Tree, the oldest Chinese Elm in Wyoming, at Fountain of Youth RV Park!
