Introduction to OpenOffice.org
An introduction to OOo, a free open source office suite that is an excellent replacement for more expensive office suites. The course introduces students to OOo's word processor, spreadsheet, presentation and draw programs. Conversion to and from other office suite formats, output for web publishing and Adobe PDF format are covered. For the beginning and intermediate office suite user.

Introduction to Linux. Using the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Command Line User Environment (CLUE). Linux network services: DNS, DHCP, SMB/CIFS (Windows® networking), web and FTP servers. Integrating into a Windows environment and replacing Windows services.
Introduction to Computer Security
Computer Security for the small business and employee. Firewalls, email security, physical security, passwords and other issues.
