We really enjoy raising Lowline Angus.  They are a smaller framed animal with excellent traits that make them ideal for a stand alone herd or incorporation into standard cattle herds.   By mixing the Lowline genetics into a herd, calving can be made easier, more animals can be grazed on the same acreage and their passive temperament makes them easier to handle.

Most of our birth weights are in the 40 lb to 50 lb range and require very little attention when birthing.  They are very maternal and grow rapidly.

These smaller cattle work extremely well on the ever increasing smaller acreages.  They do excellent on grass, are easy to manage and provide excellent meat that is much healthier as "grass finished" than the feed lot cattle.  These smaller cows provide a means for a smaller land owner to produce a product that is excellent in marbling, tenderness, taste, and on native grass.

Lowline calves and yearlings are excellent animals for youth as 4H projects as they are well mannered and handle easily.

Our animals are vaccinated with Bovishield Gold FP 5VL5 and UltraChoice 8 -- Antibiotics are only used if absolutely necessary and strictly recorded on each animals record.  We track all shots given for customer review.
